Boat Races

Boat races are an old tradition at TUXIS. Basically, they are a root-beer chugging tournament. They are organized by the Department of Membership each year.

Boat races occur relay-style in teams of five.  Two teams compete against each other to see which can finish their root beer first.  Only one member of each team may be drinking at a time.  They must slam their glasses upside down on their foreheads to prove that the glass is empty before the next team member may start drinking.

Willingly and cheerfully doing more than that which is our duty to do.
